Slovakia will not provide any support to Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced that his country will no longer provide Ukraine with financial or military support.

"The 'peace through force' strategy is an illusion. Ukraine will never be strong enough to negotiate from a position of military force. We do not want to inflame this conflict further," Fico said.

He suggested that the next EU leaders' summit on March 6 include the need for a ceasefire on the agenda, regardless of whether a final peace agreement is reached.

"If the European Council ignores the voices against a full-scale war, it may be impossible to reach a common position on Ukraine," Fico warned, hinting that Slovakia could block future decisions at the European level.
