The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has responded to the statement of the Armenian Foreign Ministry regarding the publications and the trumped-up legal proceedings regarding the Armenian prisoners of war held in Baku.
According to the Azerbaijani side, Armenia should welcome this process instead of calling it “staged.” Baku has once again accused Armenia of being an aggressor and occupier and insisted that it should bear responsibility for illegal actions.
“In this critical period, the Azerbaijani side expects Armenia to refrain from unfounded statements that undermine efforts to ensure peace in the region, including bringing war criminals to justice,” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated.
