After the heated conversation between Trump and Zelensky at the White House, the Ukrainian President thanked the United States on his Twitter page.
“Thank you, America; thank you for your support; thank you for this visit. Thank you, Trump, Congress, and the American people.
Ukraine needs a just and lasting peace, and we are working towards it,” Zelensky wrote.
It should be recalled that the Ukrainian President had left the White House, and the press conference scheduled after the talks did not take place.
