US President Donald Trump wrote on his social media page:
“Today, we had a significant meeting at the White House. We learned many things that we could never have understood without speaking under such fire and pressure. It is amazing what emotions can be expressed. I have concluded that President Zelensky is not ready for peace if America is involved because he feels that our participation gives him a significant advantage in the negotiations.
I do not want benefits; I want peace. He disrespected the United States of America in their beloved Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace.”
