Eight million people are missing in Ukraine, so elections shortly are unlikely, their security is not ensured, and most of the infrastructure has been destroyed. According to the UNIAN agency, this was stated by the first deputy chairman of the Rada, Alexander Kornienko.
"The first test of security guarantees is these post-war elections. Without security guarantees, it is impossible to talk about them. Let's solve that issue first," Kornienko said. "In addition, restoring the electoral infrastructure in Ukraine is necessary."
"In my opinion, about 500 polling stations have been destroyed in the Mykolaiv region. In Kharkiv, several thousand polling stations," he noted.
