The minerals deal is fully agreed upon; Zelensky and Trump must sign it. US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant announced this. According to him, the Ukrainian government finalized the agreement last night.
“Zelensky will come here to sign the agreement. So, the negotiations are over; there is nothing left. I am sure that Zelensky and Trump will have extensive discussions, but the deal itself is fully formulated and approved by the Ukrainian government. Now it remains for the heads of state to sign it,” he said.
Besant noted that the agreement would be beneficial for both Washington and Kyiv.
