The United States is imposing sanctions on Iran’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and ballistic missile programs to increase pressure on Tehran.
The new sanctions list includes six Chinese-based companies involved in supplying critical components to Iran’s UAV and ballistic missile programs.
These sanctions are part of President Trump’s administration’s policy of maximum pressure on Iran. The United States intends to use all available tools to identify and disrupt Iran’s efforts to develop and disseminate UAVs and missiles.
