South Korea's spy agency said North Korea has likely sent additional troops to Russia after its troops on the Russian-Ukrainian front suffered heavy losses.
The National Intelligence Service said in a brief statement that it is trying to determine how many troops North Korea has sent to Russia.
The NIS also found that North Korean troops moved to the front lines in Russia's Kursk region in the first week of February after reports of a temporary withdrawal from the area.
It should be noted that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed a new offensive by Ukrainian troops in Kursk in his February 7 address and announced that North Korean troops were fighting there alongside Russian troops.
