Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at a press conference on his plans for 2025, "I am ready to resign from the presidency for the sake of peace in Ukraine."
"I am focused on the security of Ukraine and do not intend to be in power for decades," he said.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine, Europe, the United States, and Russia should participate in the negotiations.
"This is how the negotiating table should be. Security guarantees are needed from Trump. I believe he will help end the war," the Ukrainian president noted.
