US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that Volodymyr Zelensky's presence is not very important in the meetings dedicated to the peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict.
"Zelensky is complaining that he was not present at the meeting in Saudi Arabia. He has been participating in various meetings for 3 years with no results. So, frankly, I don't think his presence is important," the US president said.
He emphasized that Zelensky was not invited to the meeting because he had performed poorly as a negotiator.
"I have been following his actions for years, and I have watched how he negotiates without playing cards," Trump said.
