US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steven Witkoff, has announced that he has established a "friendly relationship" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I had a long conversation with President Putin; I established a friendship with him. That led to Marc Fogel getting on the plane," he said on the sidelines of an investment forum in Miami.
