Swedish authorities are investigating another possible damage incident to an underwater cable in the Baltic Sea. The incident occurred off the country’s southwest coast, where several similar incidents have been reported in recent months, the Swedish Coast Guard said.
Finnish state-owned telecommunications company Cinia said it had found minor damage to the C-Lion1 underwater fiber-optic cable connecting Finland and Germany. The damage does not affect the cable's operation.
