French President Emmanuel Macron has said that France is entering a “new era” three years after Russia invaded Ukraine. RFI reports that he intends to tell US President Donald Trump that showing weakness towards Vladimir Putin is unacceptable.
“We are entering a period in which each of us must ask ourselves what we can do for the French nation and the republic,” Macron said after discussing it with party leaders in Ukraine on the same day.
Macron also defended Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
