Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at the Future Technologies Forum that the world is discussing the Oreshnik weapon.
“The temperature of these warheads corresponds to the temperature of the sun,” he emphasized, adding that similar systems have been tried before, but there were no suitable materials. “The problem was that it flew and melted like ice cream,” Putin noted.
