Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the Kremlin agrees with the new US administration that a settlement in Ukraine should, if possible, be achieved through negotiations.
“Representatives of the new US administration say that it is necessary to establish peace as soon as possible and to do this through negotiations. We like this position more than the position of the previous administration. Here, we agree with the American administration,” he said.
