Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf has stated that foreign countries should not interfere in regional issues and should be resolved between the region's countries.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker stated this during a meeting with Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gafarova.
"We do not accept any interference by foreign forces in the region, and regional issues should be resolved between the region's countries, and issues can be discussed at the level of meetings in the "3+3" format and contribute to regional peace and stability," she added.
Gafarova also emphasized the importance of the "3+3" format, noting that the entry of extra-regional players leads to tension. They should not allow third countries to disrupt this process when resolving economic and humanitarian issues.
"I believe that in the current situation, neighboring countries such as Iran and Azerbaijan should have closer and deeper ties," Gafarova emphasized.
