Denying Zelensky’s legitimacy is wrong and dangerous, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in response to a tweet by US President Donald Trump, who called the Ukrainian president a “joker” and a “dictator.”
“The fact that elections cannot be held in wartime is consistent with the Ukrainian constitution and electoral law requirements. No one should argue otherwise,” Scholz said.
