Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the war cost Ukraine $320 billion, of which Ukrainians paid $120 billion, and the United States and Europe $200 billion.
“I think we should talk about aid. We have absolute figures. The war cost $320 billion. We paid $120 billion to the people of Ukraine and $200 billion to the United States and the EU. We are talking about weapons; this $320 billion is the price of the weapons package,” the president said.
Zelensky also spoke about the aid provided by the United States.
“The United States gave us about $67 billion in weapons and $31 billion in budget support. This is not $500 billion. This is not serious talk,” Zelensky emphasized.
