French President Emmanuel Macron has assured us that France is not planning to send ground troops to Ukraine.
“On the other hand, among the solutions to provide security guarantees to Kyiv within the framework of a possible peace agreement with Moscow, it would be possible to ‘send experts or even troops under limited conditions to support the Ukrainians and sign a solidarity agreement with the British,” the French president said.
He also mentioned implementing a peacekeeping operation along the front line under a UN mandate.
