There are no losers on the path to peace

Turkey is an ideal platform for possible negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, with representatives of Ukraine, Russia, and the United States participating. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in Ankara.

The head of state noted that during his meeting with Zelensky, he emphasized Turkey's readiness to provide comprehensive assistance and conclude the negotiation process with a stable peace.

Erdogan stated that it is necessary to immediately stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, which "has led to the death of many innocent people and huge destruction."

"There are no losers on the path to peace; now the entire world community is waiting for peace to be achieved in the war between Russia and Ukraine," he noted.

At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty are essential conditions for Turkey. Erdogan expressed hope that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's talks with his counterpart and his own talks with Vladimir Putin would "pave the way for peace."
