Kyiv stands for peace based on providing security guarantees to Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a speech at the opening of the country’s new embassy in Ankara.
The Ukrainian president arrived in Turkey on an official visit.
According to him, Kyiv wants to see the United States and the European Union as guarantors.
“We want peace, we want the war to end. But, of course, we want the end of this war to be based on the provision of certain security guarantees. We want these security guarantees to be provided by the United States, the European Union, and all of Europe, including Turkey,” the Ukrainian president said.
