Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted on his social media pages, reflecting on yesterday's meeting with EU leaders in Paris and the situation created by the war in Ukraine.
"I have once again clearly emphasized how vital the security of Ukraine and that part of Europe is for Poland. Being on the front line, our country cannot afford to make compromises in defense.
It is time for Europe to increase its self-defense potential and defense spending. The European Union and its allies will be able to effectively stabilize the situation in the region only if they can protect themselves from external threats," Tusk wrote.
