French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke by phone on Monday.
“I spoke with the Crown Prince about Russia’s war in Ukraine and the role that Saudi Arabia can play in building a lasting and sustainable peace, with Europeans at the center,” Macron wrote.
The two sides also discussed the progress of the Paris Conference on Syria, where they reaffirmed their support and expectations for the transitional authorities and the Syrian people.
