At the Munich Security Conference, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Russia would send 150,000 Russian troops to Belarus this summer, which could attack NATO countries.
“We have precise information that Russia plans to send troops to Belarus this summer under the guise of military exercises. But this is the same as they deployed troops before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine three years ago.
Will these Russian forces in Belarus attack Ukraine? Maybe not. Or perhaps they are for you. Let me remind you that Belarus borders three NATO countries. It has effectively become a platform for Russian military operations,” Zelensky stated.
