The Ukrainian president said he had a long conversation with Trump, enough to discuss some details but insufficient to develop a plan to end the war.
He added that the conversation with the US president also discussed losses, which differ from the American figures.
According to Zelensky, the US and Trump are not ready to discuss NATO and believe that Ukraine cannot join the alliance, as this would lead to an escalation with Russia. Zelensky added that if Ukraine were not in NATO, it would need a 1.5 million-strong army.
