US President Donald Trump also had a one-hour phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“A long conversation about the possibilities of achieving peace and our readiness to work together at a team level. Regarding our technological capabilities, particularly drones and other modern production, I highly appreciate President Trump’s interest in what we can do together,” Zelensky gave details of the phone conversation.
He said they discussed their conversation with Scott Besant and the preparation of our new agreement on security and economic and resource cooperation.
“President Trump informed me about the details of his conversation with Putin. Ukraine wants peace more than anyone. Now the parties are defining common steps to stop Russian aggression and ensure a reliable, stable peace,” the Ukrainian president added.
