Chinese carmaker BYD is introducing an advanced autonomous driving system dubbed "God's Eye" into its cars.
BYD shares hit an all-time high on Wednesday. Earlier this week, the electric carmaker announced a partnership with AI-powered DeepSeek.
The Chinese electric carmaker, a key competitor to Tesla, said it would integrate autonomous driving into all its models, from entry-level to premium models.
BYD founder Wang Chuanfu said the company aims to make autonomous driving a standard safety feature rather than a luxury.
The Chinese company has previously taken a more cautious approach to autonomous driving than its rivals.
The new technology, dubbed "God's Eye," will be available in cars starting at just €9,200.
Experts say AI-powered technology could allow BYD to offer a more advanced voice command system and improve its autonomous driving capabilities.
BYD's rivals, including China's Geely, Great Wall Motor, and Leapmotor, want to integrate DeepSeek systems into their models.
