According to the Azerbaijani APA, the Russian House in Baku has announced that it will cease operations.
“In connection with the demand of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the Rossotrudnichestvo—Russian House representative office in Baku is taking measures to suspend its activities,” the statement released by Rossotrudnichestvo says.
It should be noted that videos are being circulated in the media claiming that the inscriptions on the building of the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku are already being dismantled. A representative of the Russian House said that only the Russian inscription has been removed so far.
