Hamas has announced that it will indefinitely postpone the next round of Israeli hostage releases, which were scheduled for Saturday, February 15, the BBC reports.
Hamas’s military wing spokesman, Abu Ubeida, said in a statement that Israel had failed to comply with the terms of the ceasefire.
“These violations include delaying the return of displaced people to the northern Gaza Strip, firing at them in various areas of the Gaza Strip, and preventing the full delivery of humanitarian aid,” the statement said.
“Therefore, the planned release of the hostages on Saturday, February 15, will be postponed until further notice,” Abu Ubeida said.
