The number of workers from North Korea to Russia has increased several times in 2024.
The South Korean Yonhap news agency reports that last year, North Korea sent 13,221 workers to Russia, about 12 times more than in 2023.
The main reason for the sharp increase is the labor shortage in Russia, which arose due to mobilization.
