German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has spoken out against US President Donald Trump's plan to take control of the Gaza Strip and displace Palestinians.
"I completely reject what President Trump is proposing. It is wrong to repatriate the people of Gaza to Egypt forcibly and Jordan," Scholz said.
The German Chancellor noted that everything must be done to prevent further escalation in the Middle East and to ensure the peaceful coexistence of a Palestinian state with Israel.
