US President Donald Trump said the decisions to reform the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) are irreversible, as corruption there is at an unprecedented level.
"The radical left is going crazy over USAID. And they can do nothing about it because the money has been spent, much of it fraudulently; it is absolutely unacceptable. Corruption is at an unprecedented level. Shut it down," Trump wrote on his Truth Social social network.
Earlier, American diplomatic and civil service unions filed a lawsuit demanding that Trump's decisions on USAID be canceled.
