Azerbaijan has allocated one million dollars in humanitarian aid to Ukraine, according to a decree posted on the country's President's website, Ilham Aliyev.
"The Republic of Azerbaijan, based on the principles of humanism, provides humanitarian aid to many countries of the world on a bilateral and multilateral basis," the text says.
According to the document, assistance of one million dollars will be provided by the presidential reserve fund for the purchase and delivery of electrical equipment manufactured in Azerbaijan.
It is noted that the Azerbaijani government has sent humanitarian aid to Ukrainians several times.
