UK Prime Minister attends EU summit for first time since Brexit

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer surprised EU leaders in Brussels by making a surprise appearance. The British Prime Minister is establishing cooperation on defense issues.

"We want to build an ambitious security partnership between the UK and the EU to support NATO," Starmer said.

European Council President Antonio Costa said a joint summit is planned in Britain in May to discuss defense against Putin's aggressive moves. Starmer also believes that Europe must defend itself against Russian subversion.
