The Israeli Prime Minister's Office reported that Benjamin Netanyahu met in Washington with US National Security Advisor Mike Walz and US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.
Following the meeting, Israel decided to send a working delegation to Doha later this week to discuss technical details related to implementing the Gaza ceasefire agreement further.
"Upon his return from the US, Prime Minister Netanyahu will convene a meeting of the security cabinet to discuss Israel's general positions on the second phase of the deal, which will determine the further course of the negotiations," the statement said.
