Explosion in Moscow: Armen Sargsyan was the target of the assassination attempt

A powerful explosion rocked a 29-story building in Moscow's Alye Parusa residential complex today. According to TASS, one person was killed, and four were injured. According to law enforcement agencies, the explosion was planned.

The incident injured Armen Sargsyan, the president of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk Republic" boxing federation.

"Sargsyan was hospitalized in serious condition, and his bodyguard was killed," the agency's source reported.

It is noted that the explosion was an assassination attempt on Armen Sargsyan. TASS, citing intelligence services, writes that it was premeditated and meticulously planned.

It is noted that a courier may have transported the explosive device.

The media reports that Armen Sargsyan is currently in the hospital's intensive care unit. According to preliminary data, he has a skull injury, contusion, and burns. His condition is considered severe. Doctors are now amputating his leg.
