US President Donald Trump addressed the Russia-Ukraine war in an interview with Fox News. He stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was fighting a much more powerful organization.
“Zelensky should not have done this because it was possible to make a deal that would have solved everything. It would have been a straightforward and small deal. I could have easily made that deal, but Zelensky decided, ‘I want a fight,’” Trump said.
Trump called for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, noting that Russian President Vladimir Putin should not have launched a large-scale invasion in 2022.
Trump criticized the Joe Biden administration, arguing that its policies have allowed Putin to get rich and start the war. “Putin should not have done this. I’m not excusing him, but he should not have done this, and this whole thing has to stop,” Trump said.
