U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents arrested 538 people, including 373 detained, the agency said in a statement.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt called those arrested “illegal immigrants,” adding that they included four Venezuelan gang members, people convicted of sex crimes against minors, and a terrorism suspect.
“Promises were made. Promises were kept,” she said.
