US President Donald Trump has stated that the Ukrainian conflict can be resolved "easily or difficultly," stressing that the first option is always preferable.
"I don't want to harm Russia. I love the Russian people and have always had a perfect relationship with President Putin. We must never forget that Russia helped us win World War II at the cost of nearly 60,000,000 lives.
With all this, I want to do a great favor to Russia, whose economy is collapsing. Putin must stop this absurd war. Then it will be worse. If we don't make a deal, I will have no choice but to impose high taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on everything that Russia sells to the US and other countries.
Let's end this war that would never have started if I were president. We can do it the easy way or the hard way, which is always better. No more lives should be lost," Trump wrote.
