On Tuesday, Greenland Prime Minister Mutt Egede announced that his government is working to arrange a meeting with Donald Trump, POLITICO reported.
"It is clear that people are worried. But now, the most important thing is for people to stay calm. We should be able to meet and calmly discuss it," he said.
"If the USA wants to talk about Greenland, they should do it with Greenland," he added.
The meeting may take place in the next few days.
