US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order suspending all US aid programs to foreign countries for 90 days to conduct an inspection.
Trump said, "US foreign aid will no longer be distributed without fully aligning with the president's foreign policy."
He also discussed the war's end in Ukraine and the meeting with Putin.
"We want to finish everything," he said about the war's end in Ukraine, elaborating. "We will try to do it as soon as possible. This war should not have happened. The war between Ukraine and Russia should not have started. It wouldn't have started if I was the president."
Regarding the meeting with Putin, the US president said, "Yes, I will meet him." Trump, however, did not specify the dates of the meeting.
