Israel's security minister opposes the ceasefire

The Jerusalem Post writes: the Israeli Cabinet of Ministers voted in favor of the ceasefire with Hamas and the hostage deal.

However, Israel's national security and finance ministers are against the agreement.

The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, called on other government members to vote against the deal, which the security cabinet had approved minutes earlier.

Even with its full composition, the government still needs to approve all this on Saturday. The deal will take effect at 12:15 on Sunday, and the first of the 33 hostages in the first phase will be released at 4:00 p.m.
