Iran and the ruling regime are in their weakest state, said Marco Rubio, the candidate of US President-elect Donald Trump for the position of Secretary of State.
"Their air defense is damaged, the economy is at a standstill, they are in an energy crisis, and they are weakened in Lebanon and Syria.
If we make any concessions to that regime, they will use it to recover militarily and finance terrorist groups," he said.
