Biden disclosed the details of the Israel-Hamas deal

The United States will participate in the release of hostages within the framework of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, US President Joe Biden announced during a briefing.

"The elements of this deal are based on the proposal I presented in May of this year, which the vast majority of the countries of the world and the UN Security Council approved. The agreement includes three stages. The first phase will last six weeks. It demands a full ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza, and the release of several hostages held by Hamas, including women, the elderly, and the wounded. I can proudly say that at this stage, the Americans will also participate in the release of the hostages," said Biden.

The US president also emphasized that within the framework of the first phase, Palestinians will be able to return to their homes, and humanitarian aid will begin to flow to the region.

"In the next six weeks, Israel will hold talks in preparation for the second phase, which should lead to the end of the war. Several details must be worked out to move from the first phase to the second. The plan is that if the talks last more than six weeks, The ceasefire will remain in force until the negotiations are completed. I have held discussions with the Emir of Kuwait and the President of Egypt, and we have agreed to maintain the negotiation process until as needed.

The second phase involves the exchange and release of the remaining hostages, including male soldiers. At the same time, all Israeli forces will withdraw from Gaza. At that moment, the temporary truce will become permanent," the president noted.

Biden added that the third phase will include the return of the remains of the dead hostages to their families, as well as the launch of a vast plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip.
