Macron will visit Lebanon this week

French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Lebanon on Friday. This will be his second visit to the country as head of state.

According to his office, Lebanon's new president, Joseph Aoun, met with the French ambassador in Beirut on Tuesday to discuss preparations for Macron's visit.
