The press service of the President of Ukraine reported that Volodymyr Zelensky spoke by telephone with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
Zelensky and Macron agreed to meet soon and "instructed the teams to plan a series of contacts at different levels to coordinate joint steps with partners to achieve a just peace and develop effective security guarantees."
"In particular, one of the possible options is the French initiative to deploy a foreign military contingent in Ukraine, as well as the practical steps of its implementation, expansion, and involvement of other countries," the message states.
