Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei mentioned the Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian's visits to Baku and Yerevan.
"The security of the South Caucasus is essential for us. Security and stability must be ensured by the region's countries, away from external interference.
This visit aimed to strengthen relations with these two countries so that we can be sure that the previous processes to maintain and enhance peace in the region, including 3+3, will continue," he stated.
According to Baghaei, Iran is ready to support this process with all its capabilities.
