The younger brother of slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed, is recruiting new fighters for the movement in the Gaza Strip. Reported The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources.
According to the newspaper, Mohammed Sinwar has become the new leader of the movement and is preparing to revive the group, as Israel has significantly undermined its fighting capabilities.
Last fall, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant, quoted by The Times of Israel, announced that the Palestinian Hamas movement, as a military organization, no longer exists.
In October, the death of Yahya Sinwar became known. He was killed during the special operation of Tzahal.
