Bloomberg reported that European countries are buying a record amount of liquefied gas from Russia despite calls for a ban.
It is reported that European countries have increased their purchases of liquefied natural gas from the Russian Yamal plant, exceeding the volume of gas transit through Ukraine, suspended on January 1.
According to Bloomberg, the loss of transit revenue would have a minimal impact on the Russian economy, reducing GDP by only 0.2-0.3 percentage points.
