The president of South Korea cannot be arrested

In South Korea, a massive group of security forces failed to arrest the ousted president, Yoon Seok Yeol. The president's security guards hindered their work, and his supporters had gathered in front of his house since morning.

The prosecutor's office sent a team of investigators to Yeole's home, authorizing his arrest on three charges: abuse of power, unconstitutional attempt to impose martial law, and attempted rebellion.

About 3,000 policemen and supporters of Yoon Seok-yeol arrived at the Seoul Palace, after which the presidential bodyguard blocked the way for South Korean investigators to enter the main gate.

Yoon Seok Yeol's arrest warrant is valid until January 6.
